Clip and Calm - Dummy Clip
Did you know? In Australia, dummy clips (also known as soother holders or pacifier chains) must meet the Consumer Goods (Babies’ Dummies and Dummy Chains) Safety Standard 2017 to ensure infant safety.
Our dummy chains have been independently tested to meet these standards, with test reports available for your peace of mind:
Design and Construction Requirements for Dummy Chains
- Length Restriction: The dummy chain has a maximum length of 220 mm to prevent any risk of strangulation.
- Impact Resistance and Durability: No part of the dummy chain should break, tear, or separate when subjected to impact resistance and tensile strength tests, ensuring it doesn’t pose a choking hazard.
- Garment Fastener Strength: The fastener must not break, tear, or separate during testing. This includes repeated opening and closing of the fastener jaws to ensure secure attachment to the baby’s clothing.
- No Adhesive Decals or Labels: Adhesive decals and labels are prohibited, as they can pose a choking, inhalation, or swallowing risk.
When you choose our products, you’re choosing quality and safety that’s thoroughly tested and verified.
For full transparency and trust, we have uploaded our independent test reports, underscoring our commitment to your little one’s safety.
